Angels and Spirit Guides

Angels are messengers sent from the heavens by God. From the time we are born until the time of our departure here on Earth; angels are with us guiding us, helping us and protecting us. Their primary work is to mediate between ourselves and God. They are sent here to bring us messages of reassurance and love, thus providing us the knowledge of knowing Him. They have been illustrated and recorded in texts for years, and have always been perceived as angelic beings that offer us guidance and comfort. Through many centuries religion has taught us that we all have our own personal guardian angels, and that children especially have a strong connection to their assigned angel or helper. Angels can appear in many forms such as symbols, signs, a soft voice you might hear, and they may sometimes appear as beings in human form. Angels are beautiful glowing messengers of light.

People often ask me about angels due to their misunderstanding and their disbelief in them; and I always tell them that miracles happen in this world everyday. How do you think they happen? Whether someone has asked for it or not, a person's life is often miraculously saved; or a serious accident is unexplainably avoided. Or, it can be as simple as getting that special job that you were hoping for, when there were many other well-qualified applicants ahead of you that could have gotten the position.

When God created Angels, he wanted the purest of the pure to assist others in need so he created these beautiful human forms to assist us in need. Angels have no other purpose on Earth or in the heavens but to assist those who call upon them. Now, if you think about it, just like us here on Earth, some Angels have different jobs of what they do. Unlike human beings and spirit guides, who have their own individual personalities, characteristics, likes and dislikes, Angels are nothing but pure love, pure protection, pure knowledge and pure forgiveness. Angels have no imperfections. They have no other agendas but to help, protect, and love.

Angels are merely there to help you in your time of need. Sometimes they bring timely messages and other times they just come to you because you asked for assistance from God. They are merely there to help according to what ever it is that you are asking for; whether it be health, abundance, career help, etc,. All you have to do is call upon them trustingly for assistance and see the outcome; it is really remarkable. We are truly blessed and loved just knowing we are always looked after and watched from above.

A spirit guide is quite different from an Angel. Spirit guides, also known to many as Guardian Angels, are loving companions sent from God to work with and protect us. Spirit Guides are spiritually highly evolved people that were once in the body such as ourselves, but have chosen to return to earth life to assist us on our path of spiritual enlightenment. A person's main spirit guide, his Guardian Angel, is bestowed to a person from birth and never leaves that persons side until they pass on to the other side. These personalities are drawn to us to positively influence us along the way and help to keep us focused and moving in the right direction, according to our purpose in life. They can help us in all areas of our lives, especially when called upon for assistance. In your lifetime you will have many guides and teachers in spirit who will be working with you along with your Guardian Angel. All of these other spirit guides and teachers come to us, as we experience different levels of spiritual growth, aptitude, and education.

It is not unusual for a person to have several spirit guides working with him or her. Each guide has the capability to influence a particular area of our lives, whether it be personally, professionally, or spiritually. Whatever skill or ability that the spirit guide is most familiar or comfortable with, based upon their own incarnations and experiences on earth, will be the area of proficiency in which their influence and help will best be felt when they work with us. For example, it is common that a person whose current vocation is a doctor will have a spirit guide in his group that is well familiar with medicine. Likewise, a musician will attract a guide that is proficient in the study and practice of the musical arts, etc. It is they that provide the little hints, the small voice inside, the gut feelings, or the lucky breaks that a person suddenly experiences when working through their life's problems or towards their goals.
